Anglican Parish Of Salisbury ST John’s Church

The historic St John’s Church was tragically gutted by fire in 1989. The redevelopment proposal moved from replacement to creating a vision for an Australian Church that was open to the community, visible, welcoming and engaging.

The new Auditorium was constructed in 1995 and subsequently the entire state heritage listed Chapel and Church Precinct were rebuilt and upgraded as funds became available.

This project is listed on the Register of the National Estate and received the inaugural Edmund Wright Heritage Award for Heritage Places in 2003.

This project was by Brown Falconer.
